Arty Parties

 

Come to the Davis Art Center (F and Covell) to celebrate your special event by making a project out of clay. 

 

Available for ages 4 to adult and accommodating up to 14 participants. 

 

I provide the studio, tools, materials, expertise and good spirit for you and your guests to make and paint a project of your choice.  (Past projects have included: piggy banks, monster banks, x-wing fighters, puppies on a rug, dolphins on a wave, wizard hats, cups, vases, bowls, etc.)  After an amusing demonstration of the rules of clay, including the all important lesson of "Scratch it, Slip it , Stick it", you will be set free to create and color your works of art.  The finished work will then dry...and be fired...and clear glazed...and fired again.  The finished pieces will be boxed and ready for you to pick them up one week later. 

 

Prices are reasonable, the event is memorable and the artworks are priceless. 

 

Party times are usually on the weekends and generally take a little over an hour. Rainbow City Park is located adjacent to the Davis Art Center and is a terrific place to have the rest of your party, although arrangements can sometimes be made to have the rest of the party inside the Davis Art Center.
